General characteristics:

Heartwood/sapwood: slightly distinct;

Thickness of sapwood: 2.0cm to 4.0cm;

Heartwood color: dark brown to brown (7.5YR 4/4 to 7.5YR 5/4);

Sapwood color: light brown (7.5YR 6/4);

Growth rings: slightly distinct;

Grain: wavy and straight;

Texture: fine;

Tangential figure: irregular aspect, caused by growth rings;

Radial figure: in slightly prominent longitudinal lines caused by; growth rings;

Luster: medium; Odor: indistinct;

Resistance to manual cross-cutting: hard.
